At this initial stage, it’s essential to establish a clear and detailed brief to guide the design process. We’ll also review the project budget and assess any existing information you have, identifying where further details may be needed to move the project forward.

The concept stage is one of the most exciting parts of the design process. This is where we translate everything gathered during the briefing into initial ideas -developing general arrangement plans, identifying key design heroes, and exploring how they come to life within the space.

We express this direction through curated look & feel mood boards, sample boards, and a fully coloured 3D model, bringing the concept to life in a clear and visual way.

We carefully review the design alongside the client, ensuring they are fully aligned with the direction and refining details where needed.

We then produce detailed schedules - including finishes, lighting, sanitaryware, and furniture. We collaborate closely with all relevant consultants to coordinate space planning and ensure all required drawings are aligned.

We prepare and submit drawing packages, liaising with consultants throughout the process, including planning and building control.

A fully coordinated tender pack is then produced, incorporating technical plans, elevations and sections, detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications.

Following tender, we develop a comprehensive construction package in collaboration with the wider consultant team, and review any contractor-produced information, such as shop drawings, to ensure consistency with the design intent.

Following the initial on-site kickoff with contractors and consultants, we maintain a presence through regular progress meetings to ensure seamless project execution.
